Closing Ceremony of the 4th Edition of the National Military Cynotechnical Championship

 
    As part of the implementation of the annual program of national military sports activities for the 2024-2025 sports season, the National Gendarmerie Command hosted the 4th edition of the National Military Cynotechnical Championship at the 1st Intervention Grouping of the National Gendarmerie in Cheraga, from February 9th to 13th , 2024. The event was held under the supervision of Brigadier General, Chief of Staff of the National Gendarmerie, in the presence of directors and representatives from various military institutions.

  

    This sporting event featured the participation of six teams, representing the Command of the Land Forces, the Command of the Air Forces, the Republican Guard, the General Directorate of National Security, and the General Directorate of Algerian Customs. The participants competed in skill-based challenges, including obedience and discipline exercises, an 800-meter individual race with dogs—a test combining physical fitness and synchronization between the handler and the dog—as well as obstacle jumping as well as protection and attack competitions.

  

    The championship concluded in a festive and distinguished atmosphere, with an award ceremony attended by high-ranking civil and military officials, reflecting the significant interest in this sporting event. The ceremony highlighted recognition of the efforts made by the participants, showcasing the success of the organization and the meticulous preparation while emphasizing the importance of this competition in enhancing the readiness and competitive spirit of cynotechnical teams. Finally, the awards presented to the winners served as an additional motivation to continue improving performance and achieving even higher standards in future editions.
