In implementation of the annual program of national and international military Scientifics and cultural activities for the year 2020-2021, approved by Mister Lieutenant-General, People’s National Army chief of staff, the Republican Guard Command organized, from 21^th to 25^th February 2021, a training days on music (Master Class) for the benefit of the commanders of the music bands and the major drums of the different Forces and Training Establishments of the People’s National Army. The theoretical part of this activity took place in the conference room of the Headquarters Grouping, and the practical part at the School of Music and the 01st Parade Regiment of the Republican Guard Command.

  

The opening and the closing of these training days were headed, on behalf of Mister General of Army Ben Ali Ben Ali, Republican Guard Commander, by Mister Major-General Ayad Tahar, Chief-of-staff of the Republican Guard Command, who emphasized, in his speech, on the importance of military music in the People’s National Army and its historical place in the national memories, as well as the determination of the Republican Guard Command to develop and to promote this activity, by conferring it the dimension that suits it, by being regularly informed of the new technologies in this field, according to the modern training programs, in order to unify the concepts and the technics which belong to the military music bands command , to qualify the bandleader and the major drums.

  

This activity has known the animation of many specialized theoretical and practical courses, in order to exchange the national experiences who took part in this event, to acquire and to develop new knowledge. In addition to the Republican Guard Command executives, the representatives of the People’s National Army Forces and Departments have participated in this event, as well as representatives of civilian organs related with arts and music.

It should be noted that the Republican Guard Command has provided all the human and materials resources that need to ensure the success of these training days. At the end, the participants were honored for their effective contribution to the success of this scientific and cultural manifestation.
