• In 1994, the creation of the training center of the Republican Guard, Lido/Algiers, an extension to that created in 1974;
• In 2010, the transfer of the Training Center/RGC from Lido, Algiers/1MR to Rouïba/1MR;
• In 2013, the establishment of the Training Center in Hamda, Laghouat /4MR;
• In 2015, the transfer of the Training Center from Hamda, Laghouat/4MR to Rouïba, Algiers/1MR;
• In 2017, the transfer of the Training Center from Rouïba, Algiers/1MR to Hamda, Laghouat/4MR.

     The missions of training the different categories are assigned to the Training Center in order to obtain the following certificates:

1. Professional military patent 2^nd degree, carried Infantry;

2. Professional military patent 1^st degree, carried Infantry;

3. Professional military certificate 2^nd degree, carried infantry, 2^nd year and the transfer to the following specialties:
   • Team leader of carried infantry;
   • Battle gear shooters;
   • Leader of team and battle gear;
   • Leader of team and piece;

4. Professional military certificate 1^st degree for the caporal cadets;

5. Application certificate for the djounoud cadets.
