The Music School of the Republican Guard Command « Moudjahid El Amine Bechichi », is an educational institution established to provide training in the field of military music and to contribute to the preservation of the national culture heritage.

Creation

    The School was established on November 01^st, 2008, and was officially inaugurated on November 28^th, 2019. It strives advance expertise in the field of military music through a program including theoretical and practical training and ensuring a high level of professional performance in this discipline.

    The School adheres to the same standards applied within the training institutions of the People’s National Army, with the aim of preparing trainees to be fully capable of representing their units in the most exemplary manner.

Training

    To this end, the School offers a variety of training programs designed to meet the diverse requirements of the specialty, namely:

• Professional Military Qualification, First Degree ;
• Professional Military Qualification, Second Degree ;
• Professional Military Certificate, Second Degree ;
• First Year of specialized Studies, Instrumentist specialty ;
• Second Year of specialized Studies, Instrumentist specialty ;
• First Year of specialized Studies, Instument Repairer specialty ;
• Advanced Studies, Drum Major.

    Thanks to the modern resources and equipment, as well as the facilities provided by the Republican Guard Command for the benefit of all the personnel of the School, particularly the trainees, the School possesses now a well-developed material infrastructure consisting of :

• (22) lecture halls of theoretical courses ;
• (74) lecture halls of practical courses ;
• (03) collective rehearsal room ;
• Scientific awareness room ;
• Listening room ;
• Orchestra hall ;
• Foreign languages laboratory ;
• Multimedia library ;
• Music library.

    In addition to dedicated facilities for accomodation and catering as well as the technical area.

    The School’s distinction is further attributed to its highly qualified teaching staff, composed of both military instructors and civilian professors, coupled with the continuous oversight of the school’s leadership to ensure rigorous, well-balanced training aligned with field requirements.

    Throughout the year, the school also welcomes national and international military delegations, as well as national media, in order to observe the quality of the training and equipment.

    The school’s activities have moreover been enriched by a wide range of cultural events designed to uplift morale and strengthen mental presence. Among theses is the school’s internal radio and theater program, which has been highly acclaimed by personnel of the school, for its role in providing opportunities to discover and showcase talent, particularly with the availability of a performance hall and a recording studio.
