Within the framework of the implementation of the annual program of scientist and cultural military activities, national and international of the year 2020/2021, approved by Mister Lieutenant General, Chief of the People's National Army Staff, the Republican Guard Command organized on February 17^th, 2021, at the level of the 3 Motorized Regiment of Intervention of the Republican Guard Command a study day about sport in the military.

  

The opening of this study day was headed by Mister General Lâaribi Yacine, Chief of Protection and Intervention Division of the Republican Guard Command, who emphasized in his speech the importance of this training activity because physical education is considered as an essential component of military training and work to reach to psychological, physical and social harmony as well as mental and physical preparation of staff. Sport, is in fact, one of the basic criteria to assess the fighting ability, which reflects the determination of Republican Guard Command to promote and develop skills acquired in the domain of sport practicing, by reminding its importance for the health’s staff.

  

This activity, marked by the animation of many specialized lectures by executives of Republican Guard Command, was widely appreciated by the public. It should be noted that the Republican Guard Command has provided all the human and materials resources that need to ensure the success of this study day, with the strict respect of the sanitary measures taken to face the pandemic of Coronavirus (Covid-19).
