In the context of the implementation of the annual national and international military sports activities for the 2020-2021 edition, approved by Mister Lieutenant General, People's National Army Chief of staff, the Republican Guard Command organized, from 22^th to 29^th May 2021, at the 11^th Cavalry and Escort Regiment of the Republican Guard Command, The Military Tournament of Equestrians Sports.

    

The kick-off of this sport tournament was given by Mister Major General, AYAD Tahar, the Republican Guard Command chief of staff, who affirmed thought his speech, about the importance of the horse riding within the republican guard, due to the fact that it’s considered as a sport who is linked with our civilizational heritage and our cultural legacy, it’s closely related with the glory and bravery of our nation all along the history on one hand, and the determination of the Republican Guard Command to promote and develop this sport and expand its practice in military in the other hand.

In addition of Republican Guard Command executives, this activity known the participation of many military organs representatives related with the sport, generally, and hors riding particularly.

It should be noted that this tournament was dotted by the organization of a show jumping competition, the presentation of practical sessions on the adaptation of cavalier-horse in favor of the cavaliers as well as the two (02) competitions of dressing and resistance of 20 Km.

    

In order to succeed this tournament, the Republican Guard Command has provided all the necessary humans and materials means, all in the strict respect of the measures taken against the pandemic of Corona virus (Covid-19).
