The Republican Guard Command holds the national military games of chess championship “Male–Female” for the 2020/2021 sport season

In the context of the execution of the annual program of nationals and internationals military sport activities of 2020/2021, approved by Mister the lieutenant General, Chief of the People's National Army Staff.

The Special Intervention Regiment “Chahid Djad Boualem” of Republican Guard Command held during the period from 15 to 19 November 2020,the national military games of chess championship “Male – Female“


  

The opening and the closing ceremony was supervised by Mister the General Major, AYAD TAHAR, Republican Guard chief of staff.

This sport activity known the presence of People's National Army senior executives, the invitees and the participation of 60 males and females competitors, a total of 25 participating teams representing the different commands, region, major units and Military schools.


  


The competitions results are as follows:


Individual ranking:

Female Category:

  • - 1st place, gold medal and the championship cup: Master Sergent kadri Sarah, from the 1st military region;
  • - 2nd place, silver medal, assimilated civilian personnel Oulmi Kahina, from the 1st military region;
  • - 3rd place, bronze medal, second Lieutenant Lahouiram Dahbia, from maritime forces command.


Male category:

  • - 1st place, gold medal and the championship cup: Master Corporal Bougren Fouzi, from the 1st military region;
  • - 2nd place, silver medal, sergent Gueham Aymen, from maritime forces command;
  • - 3rd place, bronze medal, Captain Souissi Noureddine, from the 1st military region.

Teams ranking:

Female Category:

  • - 1st place, gold medal and the championship cup: 1st military region team;
  • - 2nd place, silver medal, maritime forces command team;
  • - 3rd place, bronze medal, National gendarmerie command team.

Male category:

  • - 1st place, gold medal and the championship cup: 1st military region team;
  • - 2nd place, silver medal, 5thmilitary region team;
  • - 3rd place, bronze medal, Republican Guard Command School of music Team.

The organization of such mental sports completion reflects the great interests that give the People's National Army High command to the different sports activities, and training qualified athletes in all disciplines, which allows the formation of national military teams able to represent the People's National Army with honor in various national and international competitions.
