Within the framework of the implementation of the annual program of national and international military sports activities for the year 2024/2025, approved by Mister the General, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense, Chief of People’s National Army Staff, the Republican Guard Command hosted, during the period from May 25^th to June 01^st 2025, at the level of the Headquarters, The National Military Boxing Cup, with the participation of (16) teams representing the different military regions, major units and higher education establishments.

       The opening and closing ceremony of this competition, were headed by Mister the Colonel, Head of the Material Division of the Republican Guard Command, who emphasized in his opening speech that the organization of this sporting event is not only an opportunity for our athletes to demonstrate their combative and artistic abilities, but also is an opportunity to raise the level of combat preparation, in order to face the difficulty of missions in all circumstances”.

   

       Furthermore, he congratulated during the closing of this cup, all the participants and speakers, for their efforts made, aimed at making this sporting event a success, as well as for the high level and sportsmanship demonstrated by the boxers, in the presence of the executives of the Republican Guard Command, the officials and representatives of the structures linked to the sport of boxing, namely: the Algerian Union of Boxing, certain symbols of national and international boxing and the former boxers of the Republican Guard Command.

       It should be noted that the closing ceremony took place in the presence of the guest of honor, Mister the General, Head of the Military Sports Department of Employment and Preparation Department/EM/PNA, where medals and cups were awarded to the winners, and symbolic souvenir gifts were presented to the presidents of the technical, refereeing and organizing committees, as well as to the heads of the participating delegations. To this end, the artistic results of this cup according to the teams were as follows:

• - 1^st place : 1^st Military Region Command team;
• - 2^nd place: Administration and Common Services Management /MND team;
• - 3^rd place: Republican Guard Command team with the 5^th Military Region Command team.
