Following the example of the different Forces Commands, the Republican Guard Command celebrated the (69th) anniversary of the outbreak of the Glorious Liberation Revolution (November 01st, 1954- November 01st, 2023), by elaborating and executing a program, rich in events, in order to immortalize the greatness of our Glorious Revolution and to inculcate the noble values of November to our staff. This program included the animation of historical conferences, the broadcasting of patriotic and revolutionary songs, the sitting up of photographic exhibitions, the projection of documentary films on the Glorious Liberation Revolution, as well as the paving of barracks with the national colors.

    

For this end, a ceremony of awarding ranks and medals was organized on October 31th, 2023, under the Command of Mister General, Republican Guard Commander, in the presence of the executives of the Republican Guard Command. This ceremony was initiated by the speech of Mister the of the Republican Guard Commander, pronounced by the Chief of Information and Communication Service, followed by the presentation of wishes of Mister General, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, continued with the awarding of ranks and medals.

    

At the end of the ceremony, Mister General, Republican Guard Commander, emphasized the need to be rigorous in the accomplishment of assigned missions, renewing, afterwards, his best wishes and congratulations to all the staff, and through them, their families and relatives.

    

It should be noted that during the night gathering of the same day, the declaration of November 1st, 1954 was read, as well as the order of the day of Mister General, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, and that of mister the General, Republican Guard Commander, before proceeding to the raising of the national flag at midnight (00:00), and the observation of a minute of silence in memory of Our brave Chouhada, in an atmosphere worthy of this event.

    

Also, a detachment of 1st Parade Regiment of the Republican Guard Command launched sixty-nine (69) cannon shots at the admiralty of Algiers, in addition, a musical group of the same Regiment participated, at the evening of November 1st, 2023, in a ceremony held at the National Army Circle in Beni Messous, under the aegis of Mister the President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence.

  

All of these activities aim to raise the patriotic spirit of our staff and to highlight the key dates of our Glorious history in order to preserve our national memory, a precious legacy for an authentic people.
