The Republican Guard Command, following the example of the various forces Commands and structures of the People’s National Army, Commemorated the 70^th Anniversary of the Liberation (November 1, 1954- November 1, 2024), and this, through the execution of a rich program that immortalizes the glorious revolution, and instills the noble values of November in the minds of its staff. The program included historical events, photographic exhibitions, documentary films on the Glorious Revolution of Liberation, patriotic and revolutionary songs, cultural and sporting competitions, and the flying of national flags in barracks.

    On the morning of October 31, 2024, Mister the General Commander of the Republican Guard presided over the naming ceremony of the Central establishment of Support of the Republican Guard Command in the name of Chahid « khalfi Said », in the presence of Republican Guard Command executives and members of the Chahid’s family.

    The ceremony began with the unveiling of the Chahid’s commemorative stele, followed by an exhibition of historical photographs, the reading of the speech of Mister the General Commander of the Republican Guard by the Head of the Information and Communication Department, and the presentation of a portrait of the life of Chahid Khalfi Said, before proceeding to honor the Chahid’s family with symbolic gifts in recognition of their sacrifices. At the end of the ceremony, Mister the General, Commander of the Republican Guard, signed the guestbook of the establishment.

    On the same day, a ceremony to award ranks and medals was organized, under the aegis of Mister the General, Commander of the Republican Guard, in the presence of senior members of the Republican Guard Command.

     During the ceremony, Mister the General, Commander of the Republican Guard delivered a speech in which he congratulated all Republican Guard personnel, urging them to demonstrate greater responsibility, dedication and determination, and to make greater efforts in carrying out their assigned missions, while taking pride in our glorious past and those who built and immortalized it.

    On the night of November 1, 2024, the entire staff of the Republican Guard Command gathered to commemorate the anniversary of the outbreak of the glorious liberation revolution. At the start of the ritual, the Head of the Information and Communication Department read out the declaration of November 1, 1954, followed by the reading of the order of the day from Mister the General, Chief of Staff of the People's National Army, and that of Mister the General, Commander of the Republican Guard.

    At midnight (00:00), the national colors were raised and a minute's silence observed in tribute to the pure souls of our martyrs. At the same time, a detachment of the 1st Regiment of Parade fired seventy (70) cannon shots at Admiralty level.

    On October 30, 2024, a musical group from School of Music from the Republican Guard Command, "Moudjahid Al-Amin Bachichi", took part in a historic artistic performance entitled "the epic of the spirit of algeria" at the dome of the Olympic Complex, Mohamed Boudiaf, where the group opened the show with a rendition of the national anthem, in the presence of a host of ministerial and historical figures, as well as a large audience.

    As part of the celebrations to commemorate the seventieth (70th ) anniversary of the outbreak of the Glorious Revolution of Liberation, Republican Guard formations represented by cavalry and motorcycle escorts, as well as musical groups, and the parade squares took part in the military parade of the People's National Army, worthy heir to the National Liberation Army, on November 1, 2024, under the aegis of Mister the President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defense, with the firing of seventy (70) cannon shots.

    On the evening of November 1, 2024, the Republican Guard's musical group took part in a reception presided over by Mister the President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defense, at the National Circle of Army in Beni Messous, in honor of senior members of the People's National Army, both active and retired, in the presence of several senior government officials.

    On November 4, 2024, the winners of the sports tournament in various individual and team disciplines (chess, cross-country, athletics, tug-of-war, shot-putting, petanque and soccer), organized on the same occasion, were honored in an atmosphere charged with the spirit of November.

    All these activities are in keeping with the ancestral traditions of the People's National Army, which aim to foster the spirit of patriotism among our personnel, and to highlight our various immortal historical landmarks in order to preserve the national memory, a precious heritage of an authentic people.
