In implementation of the annual program of national and international military sports activities for the year 2025-2026, approved by Mister the General, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense, Chief of Staff of People’s National Army, and following the example of the various Commands of the Forces and structures of People’s National Army, the Major General, Inspector of the Republican Guard, gave on October 2^nd , 2025, the kick-off of the challenge of numbers, at the "Chahid Mohamed BELOUIZDAD" barracks, for the personnel of the Central Structures, the Headquarters Group and the Sports Complex of the Republican Guard Command. As for the rest of the units of the Republican Guard Command, the challenge was carried out within the security perimeter of their headquarters and under the aegis of their Commanders.

  

        This competition, considered to be one of the national military activities aimed at periodically assessing the physical and sporting preparation of personnel, that has become an established tradition within the ranks of the People's National Army, reflecting the interest shown by the High Command of the People's National Army in popularizing the practice of sport among personnel, with a view to improving their physical capacities.

  

        The event saw strong competition between participants of all age categories.

        At the end of the competition, gifts and medals were presented to the winners, in an atmosphere marked by a spirit of fraternity and cohesion between the participants.
