In execution of the annual combat preparation directive for the year 2024-2025, approved by Mister the General, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence, Chief of People’s National Army staff, the Republican Guard Command organized on May 5th, 2025, a day of medical-veterinary study entitled "Equine well-being and professional health prevention-treatment-protection", at the conference room of the headquarters of the Republican Guard Command, with the participation of professors and specialist doctors, as well as representatives of specialist national military and civilian structures.
The opening of this day was supervised by Mister the Major-General, Commander of the Republican Guard, who emphasized in his speech on the importance of this scientific activity and the determination of the Republican Guard Command to promote and acquire knowledge in the field of medicine and veterinary medicine, as well as to strengthen cooperation and coordination between veterinarians and professionals in the equine field.
The scientific event was led by specialists from the republican Guard Command and specialized national structures, in the form of conferences and practical workshops at the level of the 11th Cavalry Regiment and escorts, in order to raise awareness of the management of medical cases and the adoption of modern therapeutic techniques and interventions to reduce musculoskeletal system injuries in horses and the methods of interpretation and implementation.
At the end of the day, the guest speakers were honored with certificates of appreciation and souvenir photos were taken.
It should be noted that the Republican Guard Command has put in place all the human and material resources to ensure the success of this veterinary study day.
