In implementation of the annual program of national and international military sports activities for the year 2023/2024, approved by Mister the General, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, and following the example of the various Commands of the Forces, Mister the Brigadier General, Chief of the Schools Division of the Republican Guard Command gave on 05 October 2023, the kick-off of the challenge of numbers, at the "Chahid Mohamed BELOUIZDAD" barracks for the personnel of the Central Structures, the Headquarters Group, the 11th Cavalry and Escort Regiment, the Music School and the Sports Complex of the Republican Guard Command.

As for the rest of the units of the Republican Guard Command, the challenge was carried out within the security perimeter of their headquarters and under the aegis of their Commanders.

    

    

This competition, considered to be one of the national military activities aimed at periodically assessing the physical and sporting preparation of personnel with a view to achieving better results, has become an established tradition within the ranks of the People's National Army, reflecting the interest shown by the High Command of the People's National Army in popularizing the practice of sport among personnel, with a view to improving their physical and sporting capacities.

The event saw strong competition between participants of all age categories, and took place in an atmosphere marked by a spirit of fraternity and cohesion between the participants.

At the end of the competition, gifts and medals were presented to the winners.
