On the occasion of the international women’s day which coincides with the eighth March every year, the Republican Guard Command organized on March 06^th, 2025, an honoring ceremony to the female military and assimilated personnel of the Republican Guard Command.

   

      The opening of the ceremony was presided over by Mister the Major General, Commander of the Republican Guard by interim. The beginning was by reading the congratulations of Mister the General, Minister Delegate to the Minister National Defence, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, to all the female military and civilian personnel. After that, Mister the Major General, Commander of the Republican Guard by interim emphasized in his speech:” … Algerian woman has participated in all the battles, in difficult historical moments known by our country and she proved her willingness to fight with all her might for the great Algeria. Always faithful to her civilizational values, the Algerian woman is a symbole of bravery, struggle and defiance and the history is witness to this, we will never forget our heroines « Sirta », « el Kahina », « Lella Fatma N’Soumer », « Hassiba Ben Bouali » and « Ourida Meddad »,… and others among them that will remain forever in our memory as a symbol of fight of the Algerian woman…” he also added: ” … no community can recover, progress and raise without women’s participation, she raises and works to perpetuate the noble values, especially since this celebration coincides with the holy Ramadhan …”..

      Following this, le Lieutenant-Colonel F. SAMIA, the first female officer that join the ranks of the Republican Guard Command, addressed a word of thanks, recognition and appreciation to Mister the Major General, Commander of the Republican Guard by interim, in recognition of his efforts made, in order to promote the role of women and for the major interest he shows to them in the Guard Republican, ensuring them a professional atmosphere, marked by total respect.

      At the end of the ceremony, Mister the Major General, Commander of the Republican Guard by interim, addressed to all female military and civilian personnel his best wishes of health, joy and prosperity and more success in their professional careers.
