In implementation of the annual directive of preparation of the forces, emanating from Mister the General, Chief of staff of the People’s National Army, Mister the General, Commander of the Republican Guard, presided over on October 06^th, 2024, at the level of the 3rd Motorized Regiment of Intervention Chahid " REZIG Ahmed " located at Rouiba - Algiers, the ceremony of opening of the year of preparation to the combat of the Republican Guard Command for the year 2024/2025, and this, with the participation of all the structures and the units of the Republican Guard Command.

     

In his opening speech, Mister the General, Commander of the Republican Guard, stressed the need to make greater efforts to ensure proper preparation for combat and ongoing training of personnel, highlighting the importance of the availability of resources and equipment to ensure the perfect execution of the missions assigned to the Republican Guard Command. He then announced the opening of the 2024/2025 combat preparation year under the slogan "Readiness, Competence - Commitment".

The opening ceremony included various activities, namely the screening of a video realized by information and communication service on: " Annual review of various activities of the Republican Guard Command of the year 2023/2024” , followed by a presentation by Mister the Brigadier General, Chief of the Employment and Preparation Division by interim of the Republican Guard Command, covering the actions carried out, the general assessment of the activities of the previous combat preparation year, as well as the preparations for the current year and the objectives to be achieved.

     

     

Mister the General, Commander of the Republican Guard, then proceeded to inspect the various workshops organized for the occasion, and supervised the demonstrations and specialized and complex exercises, as well as the sports displays presented by the personnel, who demonstrated a high degree of professionalism, physical potential and perfect mastery of the equipment made available to them.

The activity ended with the signing of the golden book of the Regiment by Mister General, Commander of the Republican Guard with a strict organization which reflects the sustained interest of the Republican Guard Command in the training and combat preparation of its personnel, with the aim of successfully carrying out the missions assigned to them.
