In implementation of the annual program of national and international military sports activities for the year 2025-2026, the Republican Guard Command hosted the final match of the second edition of the national military futsal super cup, on Tuesday, October 07^th, 2025, at the multi-sports hall of the Headquarters of the Republican Guard Command, between the teams of the National Gendarmerie Command and the 1st Military Region.

        The sports event was supervised by Mister the Brigadier General, Chief of Military Sports of the Employment and Preparation Department of People’s National Army Staff, in presence of Mister the Major General, Chief of Staff of Republican Guard, besides the executives of the Republican Guard Command and guests representing civilian and military sports institutions.

  

        It is worth mentioning, that the Republican Guard Command provided all the human and material resources necessary to ensure the success of this final, which witnessed a strong competition between both teams, and was won by the National Gendarmerie Command team, after a penalty shootout.

  

        At the end, all the participants and Chief of technical refereeing committees were honored, in an atmosphere full of enthusiasm, characterized by a strict organization, great sportsmanship and fair play.
