In execution of the annual program of national and international military sports activities for the 2024/2025 season, approved by Mister The General, Minister Delegate to The Minister of National Defense, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, and as part of the National Military Football Cup competitions, the team of the Republican Guard Command achieved a genuine victory over its opponent from the Land Forces Command, with two goals to one (2-1) in the semi-final of the National Military Football Cup, which took place on Tuesday, April 08^th, 2025, at the stadium of the military sports teams gathering and preparation center in Ben Aknoune.

      This victory follows a heroic performance by players from the Republican Guard Command team, who qualified for the final of the national military Football cup for the first time in its history.

   

      Following this historic victory, Mister The Major General Commander of the Republican Guard by Interim invited the staff and players of the Republican Guard Command team to congratulate them and express his pride for this achievement. He also stressed that the Republican Guard Command would provide all the means and support necessary to ensure exemplary preparation for the final, and the future obtention of the national military football cup.

      Following this, the team leader thanked Mister the Major General Commander of the Republican Guard by Interim, for his unstinting support for military sport within the Republican Guard.
