Within the framework of the implementation of the annual program of national and international military sports activities for the 2024/2025 sports season, approved by Mister General, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, the Republican Guard Command organized on February 11^th, 2025, the international day of military sports « Friendship through sport ».

   

      The kick-off of this sporting event was given by Mister Brigadier General, Inspector of the Republican Guard Command, at the level of the cantonment Chahid "Mohamed BELOUIZDAD" for the personnel of the Central Structures, the Headquarters Group, the 11th Cavalry and Escort Regiment, the School of Music, the Equestrian Complex and the Sports Complex. As for the rest of the units of the Republican Guard Command, the race took place at their headquarters and under the direct supervision of their commanders.

   

      It should be noted that the animation of the International Military Sports Day « Friendship through Sport » is considered as one of the national military activities aiming at the periodic evaluation of the physical, sports and mental preparation for combat for the staff, as well as the enhancement of their qualifications and competencies. This sporting event witnessed a wide participation of both genders, males and females.
