![]() In commemoration of the 63rd anniversary of National Immigration Day, which coincides with 17 October 1961, and with the implementation of the instructions of Mister the General, Chief of Staff of People’s National Army, aimed to observe a minute’s silence in honor of the souls of our valiant martyrs. In the morning of 17 October 2024 at 11:00, a minute’s silence was observed at the Central Structures and Command Units of the Republican Guard, in tribute to the martyrs murdered as a result of the massacres perpetrated by abject French colonialism, massacres which will remain an indelible stain of shame in the annals of human history, against Algerian immigrants who came out to demonstrate peacefully in the streets of Paris. ![]() ![]() This minute's silence is intended to preserve the national memory and inculcate the values of our glorious November through all its key dates, in order to reinforce the spirit of belonging to the people’s National Army, descendant of National Liberation Army, in the mind of all personnel. |
