In implementation of the annual program of national and international military sports activities for the 2024/2025 sports season, approved by Mister The General, Minister Delegate to The Minister of Natinal Defense, Chief of People’s National Army Staff, the Republican Guard Command organized during the period from November 23^rd to 29^th, 2024, the National Military Equestrian Sports Championship “open to Joint Services”, in the equestrian grounds of the 11^th Cavalry and Escort Regiment of the Republican Guard Command.

The opening ceremony of the activities of this championship, was presided over by Mister the Brigadier-General, Inspector of the Republican Guard Command, in the presence of the Republican Guard Command's executives and representatives of the General Directorate of National Security, the General Directorate of Prison Administration and Reintegration and the General Directorate of Customs.

     In his opening speech, Mister the Brigadier-General, emphasized the importance of horse riding within the Republican Guard Command, particularly due, to the fact that sport is linked with our national heritage and by its relation with the glory and bravery of our nation thought history, and the determination of the Republican Guard Command to develop and promote it, by widening its practice within the military environment.

The championship saw the participation of (136) riders (male and female), spread over 18 teams reporting to Force Commands, Military Regions, Directorates and Higher Schools of People’s National Army, in addition of sporty riders from the General Directorate of National Security, the General Directorate of Prison Administration and Reintegration and the General Directorate of Customs.

     This Championship was marked by the organization of ten (10) competitions in three (03) disciplines, in show jumping and dressage in various categories, in addition to the endurance competition, which the results were as follows:

Show jumping discipline:

Category “A” high 1.30m

• - 1^st place, Staff Sergeant KANOUNE Noureddine from the R.G.C;
• - 2^nd place, Sergeant First Class KOUISSEM Mohamed Cherif from the R.G.C;
• - 3^rd place, Staff Sergeant BOUTERFA Kamel from the R.G.C.

Category “B” high 1.15m

• - 1^st place, Staff Sergeant BELMEHAL Adda from the G.D.N.S;
• - 2^nd place, Chief police commissioner MOUSSAOUI Amine from the G.D.N.S;
• - 3^rd place, Civilian Rider CHAICHI Sofiane from the G.D.N.S.

Category « C »

• - 1^st place, Civilian Rider GHERBI Syrine from the G.D.N.S;
• - 2^nd place, Civilian Rider CHERIF Yacine from the G.D.N.S;
• - 3^rd place, Staff Sergeant KANOUNE Noureddine from the R.G.C.

Category “D” high 60-70cm

• - 1^st place, Civilian Rider CHERIF Yacine from the G.D.N.S;
• - 2^nd place, Lance Corporal SALEMI Oussama from the R.G.C;
• - 3^rd place, Member BOUAZZA SAJED from the 1^st MR Command.

• - 1^st place, ACP MEKKAOUI Noureddine from the G.D.A.S;
• - 2^nd place, Member ALIOUANE Lilia from the 2^nd MR Command;
• - 3^rd place, Staff Sergeant BOUDJEDRA Abdelhak from the Military Academy of Cherchell/ 1^st MR.

Category “C” Rider's Course

• - 1^st place, Civilian Rider BOUAZZA Mohamed Iheb from the 1^st MR Command;
• - 2^nd place, S.O.A BOUHRAOUA Soheib from the Higher Aviation School/2^ndMR;
• - 3^rd place, Retired Major BOUTAREN Rabeh from the 1^st MR Command.

Category “D” Beginner Rider's course

• - 1^st place, Divisional Inspector LEKHACHE Abdelkader from the General Directorate of Customs;
• - 2^nd place, S.O.A BENDARA Youcef from the Military Academy of Cherchell/ 1^st MR;
• - 3^rd place, Major ZAHED Abdennabi from the 1^st MR Command.

Endurance discipline, distance 20km :

• - 1^st place, Staff Sergeant SISALAH Abderrahim from the R.G.C;
• - 2^nd place, Staff Sergeant DJELLOULI Mohamed from the 2^nd MR Command;
• - 3^rd place, APC LEMMAR Sid Ali from the Higher School of Transmission/ 1^stM.R.

Endurance discipline, distance 10km :

• - 1^st place, Rehabilitation Sergeant MIMOUNI Youcef from D.P.A.R;
• - 2^nd place, Control agent RABHAOUI Yacine from the General Directorate of Customs;
• - 3^rd place, Colonel ABDENNABI Daoued Aboubekr from A.F.C.

     At the end of the competition, Mister the Brigadier-General, Inspector of the Republican Guard Command, honored the first place winners with medals and gifts, he also presented certificates of honor to the presidents of the participating delegations, in a good atmosphere, ending by signing the Golden Book.
