Within the framework of the implementation of the annual program of national and international military sports activities for the year 2024/2025, approved by Mister the General, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense, Chief of People’s National Army Staff, the Republican Guard Command hosted the activities of the National Military Taekwondo Cup, during the period from April 20^th, to April 24^th, 2025, at the level of the Headquarters of the Republican Guard Command, with the participation of 17 teams ( Males and Females) representing the different Forces Commands, the Military Region as well as the different Military Formations and Commands Structures.

     The opening and closing ceremony of this national cup, were headed by Mister the Colonel, head of the Organization and Mobilization Division of the Republican Guard Command, who emphasized in his speech that “the military sport is a pillars of training and an indispensable means for the physical preparation for the fighters …”, adding that “ military sport has been and will remain one of the priorities of the high Command of the People’s National Army, in order to train competent fighters and athletes…”.

     This national military Taekwondo cup saw the presence of senior executives of the Republican Guard Command, as well as representatives of national sports organizations, and witnessed a strong competition between the participating teams. The Republican Guard Command team was crowned with the cup, which adds to the excellent results obtained by this team, which has already won the military championship of this sports season.

     At the end of this competition, the participating delegations as well as the winners were honored with the cup and medals, and the result were as follows:

• - 1^st place, Corporal HENDAI SAID from Air Forces Command;
• - 2^nd place, S N-C O C SAADAOUI ABDERAHIM from Republican Guard Command;
• - 3^rd place, Lance Corporal BADI AYMEN from 4^th Military Region;
•              CAPORAL MAKSSEM AMER from Land Forces Command.

• - 1^st place, Staff Sergeant MERDASSI Nacir from 2^nd Military Region;
• - 2^nd place, Staff Sergeant AGOUNE YOUCEF from Republican Guard Command;
• - 3^rd place, Corporal FELLAG ALI from Air Forces Command;
•              Staff Sergeant HASROURI ABELLATIF from National Gendarmerie Command.

• - 1^st place, Staff Sergeant ABID HAYAT from Naval Forces Command;
• - 2^nd place, Sergeant HAMDANI BAHIDJA MANEL 01^st Military Region;
• - 3^rd place, ACP BEN DEHINA SARAH from 03^rd Military Region;
•              S N-C O C MELIANI DJIHAD SALSABIL from 2^nd Military Region.
