In implementation of the People’s National Army’s communication plan for 2024, coinciding with the commemoration of the 70^th Anniversary of the Outbreak of the Glorious Revolution of Liberation, the Republican Guard Command organized a conference on 24 October 2024, led by professor Dr. Deliouh Abd El Hamid from the University of Algiers 2, entitled “the Algerian revolution, from modest beginnings, to great achievements”.

    The professor dealt with this historical subject, through the development of the national movement after the events of 08 May 1945, and the Algerian people’s conviction that what had been taken by force, could only be recovered by force, under the liberation movement that was sweeping the world after the Second World War, where preparations for the Glorious Revolution of Liberation began with the intensification of meetings between the leaders of this revolution, to agree on its organizational issues, announcing the birth of the National Liberation Front as the political wing and the National Liberation Army as the military wing, and dividing Algeria into regions, each headed by a chief and deputy. During his conference, the professor underlined the determination of the Algerian people to be independent despite the lack of resources, and thus the date of the 1st of November 1954 was chosen as the date of the outbreak of the Glorious Revolution of Liberation.

  

    The professor also touched on the circumstances that prevailed at this stage, and the attempts of the French colonizer to eradicate this revolution by all means, but the willingness and determination of Algerian people and their rallying to it were greater, for this reason the colonizer had no option other than to cease fire, in face of the will of this proud people, who sacrificed body and soul for the independence and the freedom of Algeria.

  

    As part of the planning of a conference on national history by the Information and Communication Directorate of the People’s National Army for the benefit of the Republican Guard Command, and coinciding with the celebrations commemorating the seventieth (70^th) anniversary of the outbreak of the Glorious Revolution of Liberation, the Republican Guard Command organized on November 03, 2024 a conference led by professor Dr. Houari Moussa entitled “the military and political victories of the Glorious Revolution of Liberation 1954-1962”.

     At the start of the conference the doctor mentioned the military and political victories, as well as the economic impact of the Glorious Revolution of Liberation on despicable french colonialism. He then went on to discuss the importance of the conditions that marked each stage, leading to the internationalization of the Algerian cause in international forums, and the recovery of the despoiled national sovereignty, thanks to the enormous sacrifices of our valiant Martyrs and our brave Moudjahidin.
