The Republican Guard Command organizes a historical lecture on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of the outbreak of the Glorious Liberation Revolution

As part of People's National Army's communication plan for 2023, approved by General, Chief of Staff of People's National Army, and coinciding with the 69th anniversary of the outbreak of the Glorious Liberation Revolution, the Republican Guard Command organized a lecture on 26th October 2023, led by Professor Doctor DELIOUH Abdel Hamid from the University of Algiers 2, entitled "Algerian participation in the First and Second World Wars".

During this conference, the professor discussed this historical event, reviewing the events since the entry of the French colonialists into Algeria, as well as the enactment of various laws that allowed him to dominate the Algerian people, such as the law of compulsory conscription of Algerians, especially the youth, who were used as human shields during the First and Second World Wars, and also exploited in the various external military operations under the French banner.

At the end of his lecture, the professor emphasized that the methods used and the crimes committed by French colonialism revealed its hideous image, which was the reason for many Algerians to engage in national action, forming the first nucleus of the Special Organization who believed that what is taken by force will only be recovered by force, something that led to the outbreak of the Glorious November Revolution, which subsequently became an example of the liberation causes in the world.
