The equestrian grounds of the 11th Cavalry and Escort Regiment of the Republican Guard Command, hosted during the period from April 22nd, to April 28th, 2024, the national military equestrian sports cup open to Joint Services, which saw a strong competition between participants (male and female).
The opening ceremony of the activities of this cup, was presided over by Mister Major-General, Inspector of the Republican Guard Command, on April 24th, 2024, in the presence of executives of the Republican Guard Command, representatives of the General Directorate of National Security, the General Directorate of Prison Administration and Reintegration and the General Directorate of Customs.
In his opening speech, Mister Major-General, emphasized the importance of horse riding within the Republican Guard Command, particularly due, to the fact that is an ancient and authentic sport, to its link with our national heritage and by its relation with the glory and bravery of our nation thought history, on the one hand, and the determination of the Republican Guard Command to develop and promote it, by widening its practice within the military environment, on the other hand.
The championship saw the participation of (113) riders spread over 15 teams reporting to Force Commands, Military Regions, Directorates and Higher Schools of People’s National Army, in addition of sporty riders from the General Directorate of National Security, the General Directorate of Prison Administration and Reintegration and the General Directorate of Customs.
This Championship was marked by the organization of three competitions in show jumping and dressage disciplines in various categories, in addition to the endurance competition, distance 20 Km.
The national military equestrian sports cup open to Joint Services stages took place in excellent conditions created by the Republican Guard Command by mobilizing the necessary human and materiel resources, in perfect organization and specialized supervision by certified trainers by the Algerian Equestrian Federation, which the results were as follows:

At the end of the competition, Mister The Major-General, Inspector of the Republican Guard Command, honored the first place winners with medals and gifts, he also presented certificates of honor to the presidents of the participating delegations, in a good atmosphere, ending by signing the Golden book.
