The Republican Guard Command, following the example of the various forces Commands and structures of the People’s National Army, Commemorated the 71st Anniversary of the Glorious Revolution of Liberation (November 1st , 1954- November 1st 2025), and this, through the execution of a rich program that immortalizes the glorious revolution, and instills the noble values of November in the minds of its staff.
The program included historical events, photographic exhibitions, documentary films on the Glorious Revolution of Liberation, patriotic and revolutionary songs, cultural and sporting competitions, and the flying of national flags in barracks.
On the same day, a ceremony to award ranks and medals was organized, under the aegis of Mister the Major-General, Commander of the Republican Guard, in the presence of senior members of the Republican Guard Command. During the ceremony, Mister the Major-General, Commander of the Republican Guard delivered a speech in which he congratulated all Republican Guard personnel, urging them to demonstrate greater responsibility, dedication and determination, and to make greater efforts in carrying out their assigned missions, while taking pride in our glorious past and those who built and immortalized it.
At the end of the ceremony, Mister the Major-General, Commander of the Republican Guard emphasized the need to be more rigorous carrying out the assigned mission, and renewed his sincere congratulation to all personnel through them, to their families.
Mister the Major-General, Commander of the Republican Guard, congratulate the Republican Guard Command football team for winning the 2025 Algerian Military Football Cup, in its (53rd) edition, for the first time in history. He expressed his happiness with this achievement, thanking the players and the technical staff for their precious efforts and for creating an unforgettable day in the memory of the Republican Guard.
On the night of November 1st, 2025, the entire staff of the Republican Guard Command gathered to commemorate the anniversary of the outbreak of the glorious liberation revolution. At the start of the ritual, the Chief of the Information and Communication Department read out the declaration of November 1st, 1954, followed by the reading of the order of the day from Mister The General, Minister Delegate to The Minister of National Defense, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army.At midnight (00:00), the national colors were raised and a minute's silence observed in tribute to the pure souls of our martyrs, at the same time, a detachment of the 1st Regiment of Parade fired seventy-one (71) cannon shots at Amirauté.
As part of the celebrations to commemorate the seventy-first (71st ) anniversary of the outbreak of the Glorious Revolution, an orchestra music of the Republican Guard, performed the national anthem and participated in a military march on the morning of the 1st November at the awards ceremony at the People’s Palace, presided over by Mister the President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defense.
In the evening of the same day, a military music orchestra group, accompanied by the choir group and bagpipes group of the Republican Guard Command, took part in a reception presided over by Mister the President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defense, at the National Circle of Army in Beni Messous. They performed national anthems and revolutionary songs from our rich history, in honor of senior members of the People's National Army, both active and retired, in the presence of several senior government officials.
All these activities are in keeping with the ancestral traditions of the People's National Army, which aim to foster the spirit of patriotism among our personnel, and to highlight our various immortal historical landmarks in order to preserve the national memory, a precious heritage of an authentic people.
