In execution of the annual directive of preparation of the forces, emanating from Mister the General, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, and in application of the instructions of Mister the General, Commander of the Republican Guard relating to the preparation for combat of the personnel of the Republican Guard Command for the year 2022/2023, the 47^th Motorized Intervention Regiment located in Baba Ali carried out on January 19^th, 2023, a practical exercise on the field of the Section of the Signals, entitled: "the deployment and opening of the communication center for the regiment's command post during the execution of various combat missions" while providing command and control from the Operations Centre of the Republican Guard Command in Lido, under the command of Major General, Chief of Staff of the Republican Guard.

  

This practical exercise aims at highlighting the importance of the signal system in the Republican Guard units, the sequence of actions and the reaction of the signal personnel and the permanence system teams after the reception of the alert signal, while developing the ability and competence of the officers to exploit the technical-operational characteristics of the signal means, with the aim of improving the military knowledge of the signal officers at the tactical and specialized level, in an atmosphere simulating a real process to strengthen the spirit of collective work, in addition to setting up a new conception of the battlefield, as well as the further improvement and combat readiness of the signal sub-units, in the era of the use of modern digital signal means. To this end, the Republican Guard Command mobilized all human and material means for the execution of this specialized demonstrative exercise, which was distinguished by a strict organization and a high control of the equipment.
