Within the framework of the implementation of the annual program of national and international military sports activities for the 2022/2023 sports season, approved by Mister the General, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, the Republican Guard Command organized on February 16^th, 2023, the international day of military sports "friendship through sports".

  

The kick-off of this activity was given by Mister the Brigadier General, Head of the Schools Division of the Republican Guard Command, at the cantonment Chahid "Mohamed BELOUIZDAD" for the personnel of the Central Structures, the Headquarters Group, the 11^th Cavalry and Escort Regiment, the Music School, the Equestrian Complex and the Sports Complex. As for the rest of the units of the Republican Guard Command, the race took place at their headquarters and under the direct supervision of their commanders.

  

It should be noted that the International Military Sports Day, "Friendship through Sport", is considered as one of the national military activities aiming at the periodic evaluation of the physical and sports preparation for combat.

This sporting event was well attended by both genders.

At the end of the event, the winners were honored, cups and medals were awarded under the supervision of Mister the Brigadier General, Head of the Schools Division of the Republican Guard Command, in an atmosphere marked by perfect harmony between the participants.
