The National Military Karate Do Championship The Republican Guard Command’s team wins the first places

Within the framework of the periodic participation in the various national and international military sports activities of the year 2022/2023, the Karate-Do team of the Republican Guard Command participated in the national military championship of Karate-Do (male and female), during the period from 11 to 14 December 2022, at the Regional Complex of Military Sports in Blida/1st MR. This championship saw the participation of twenty-eight (28) teams representing different forces, regions and military structures and witnessed a strong competition between the athletes, where the team of the Republican Guard Command was able to rightfully take the first places.


Men's individual ranking (kata):

  • -1st place, Sergeant Qurei Abd el-Rahman from the Republican Guard Command.

Men's team ranking (kata):

  • -1st place: The Republican Guard Command’s team;
  • -2nd place, The National Gendarmerie Command’s team
  • -3rd place, The First Military Region’s and the Third Military Region’s teams;

Women’s team ranking (kata):

  • -1st place, The First Military Region’s team;
  • -2nd place, The National Gendarmerie Command’s team;
  • -3rd place, The Naval Forces Command’s and the Military Academy of Cherchell’s/1RM teams.
