Within the framework of the execution of the communication plan for the year 2022/2023, approved by Mister the General, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, the Republican Guard Command organized, on 03^rd May 2023, a guided visit to the 3^rd Motorized Intervention Regiment "Chahid REZIG AHMED", for the benefit of national media.

    

    

At the beginning of this visit, a welcome speech to the representatives of the national media was delivered by the Head of the Information and Communication Service of the Republican Guard Command, followed by a brief presentation on the Regiment and its missions by the Regiment Commander, before the media delegation visited the different facilities and educational structures of the Regiment.

In order to allow the journalists to get a closer look at the different combat missions assigned to the Regiment, a tactical exercise, entitled: “The section in response to an ambush", was performed. Subsequently, sports demonstrations of gueuksoul, judo and taekwondo were presented, through which the personnel showed a high degree of professionalism and perfection. This reflects the high physical and psychological readiness of the Republican Guard personnel. The journalists were also given a visit to the shooting simulator, where they were introduced to the techniques of learning to shoot in conditions close to the reality.

  

    

This communication activity aims at highlighting the honourable image of the People's National Army through the achievements accomplished within the framework of the development and modernization program of the Republican Guard, for which the High Command of the People's National Army grants a sustained interest, translated essentially by the training of qualified personnel, the modernization of infrastructures and the acquisition of sophisticated equipment.

It should be noted that this activity took place under good conditions. Journalists widely welcomed this initiative which further strengthens good relations and creates more reliable communication channels between the military institution and the media family.
