In execution of the communication plan for the year 2022/2023, approved by Mister the General, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, the Republican Guard Command organized information days on the Republican Guard in the Wilayas of El Menia and Touggourt/4^th Military Region, in the presence of the military and civil authorities and representatives of the national media as well as the citizens of the wilayas concerned.

  

These information days were launched in the wilaya of El Menia, which hosted this event, in the period from February 23^rd to March 01^st, 2023, at the level of the former municipal library (People's Assembly of the Wilaya currently). The opening was chaired in the name of Mister the Commander of the 4^th /MR by the Deputy Chief Military Sector of the wilaya.

  

As for the wilaya of Touggourt, the official inauguration was chaired in the name of Mister the Commander of the 4^th / MR, by the Chief Military Sector of the wilaya, at the level of the National Institute Specialized in Professional training "the Martyr MERKHOUFI Hocine", during the period from March 02^nd to 05^th, 2023.

This media activity aims to enable citizens to become acquainted with the various components of the Republican Guard, to know closely its various missions, its fields of activity and its means, to further consolidate the bond of the Army with its Nation and to strengthen internal and external communication, by highlighting the achievements accomplished by the Republican Guard, to preserve the honorable image of the People's National Army. Weaving professional relations with our national media and creating more efficient communication channels with our journalists and correspondents.

     

     

It should be noted that, this demonstration knew a massive affluence of the public, thing which reflects its desire to inquire more about the various components of the People's National Army.

These information days included workshops that concretize the different specialties of the Republican Guard, namely; military music, cavalry, protection and special intervention, as it also featured, an exhibition of photographs and a space for viewing documentary films that highlight its various missions and activities as well as the opportunities offered to young people wishing to join and enlist in the ranks of the Republican Guard.
