In accordance with the annual directive of combat preparation for the year 2022/2023, approved by Mister the General, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, the Republican Guard Command organized on March 15, 2023, at the level of the barracks of Chahid Mohamed BELOUIZDAD located in Lido/Alger, a study day in horse riding entitled: "the techniques of equine reproduction, breeding and breaking of foals".

The opening of this study day was chaired by Mister the Brigadier General, Head of the Schools Division, followed by a welcoming speech by Mister the Brigadier General, Head of the Specialized Units Division, in which he emphasized the importance of this activity and the interest of the Republican Guard Command in the development of horse riding, as well as all the aspects inherent to this cultural and civilizational heritage, namely; veterinary medicine and related trades, and this, by adopting the latest technical evolutions in this field.

  

This activity was animated by several interventions by specialists of the Republican Guard Command, civilian organizations specialized in horse riding, whose theme was essentially about the importance of preserving the purebred horses. This activity also included a visit to the practical workshop for monitoring the gestation of mares via ultrasound, in order to exchange experiences with the various actors in the field of veterinary medicine and to acquire new knowledge.

     

This activity was closed by the speech of Mister the Brigadier General, Head of the Specialized Units Division, through which he thanked all the participants of this scientific and cultural event, who were honored by taking a souvenir photograph.

It should be noted that the Republican Guard Command has made available all the human and material means necessary to make this study day a success.
