Docking of the School Sailing Ship CHAPLIN of the Italian Navy at Oran port
Within the framework of the Algerian-Italian bilateral military cooperation, the School Sailing Ship CHAPLIN of the Italian Navy docked in August 1st, 2023 at the Algiers’ port for a stopover of three days after its first stopover at Algiers’ port.
On the sidelines of this stopover, the ship Commander paid a courtesy visit to the Major-General Abdelhak BENAYAD, Commander of Western Maritime Façade/2ndMR, and in accordance with the military protocols and customs, several cultural and touristic activities were executed for the benefit of the Italian School Sailing Ship crew.
