Docking of Warships Detachment of the Russian North Sea Fleet at the Oran port
Within the framework of the Algerian-Russian bilateral military cooperation, a Warships Detachment of the Russian North Sea Fleet docked, in September 1st, 2023 at the Oran port for a stopover till September 04th, 2023.
In the sidelines of this stopover, the mission Chief and the two Russian Warships’ Commanders paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Major-General Abdelhak BENAYAD, Commander of West Maritime Façade/ 2ndMR, and in accordance with the military protocols and customs, several cultural, sport and tourist activities were performed for the benefit of the two ships’ crews.
