General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of People’s National Army, presided the inauguration ceremony of the new Naval Forces Command headquarters
General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of People’s National Army, presided the inauguration ceremony of the new Naval Forces Command headquarters in Zeralda in February 2nd,2023, with the presence of Ministry of National Defense Secretary General, Forces Commanders, National Gendarmerie Commander, the 1st Military Region Commander and Chiefs of Departments as well as People’s National Army General Staff and Ministry of National Defense Central Directors.
After the welcoming ceremony the General, Chief of Staff of People’s National Army, observed a minute of silence on the soul of Chahid “Souidani BOUDJEMAA”, whose the Naval Forces Command Headquarters bears his name, and laid a wreath of flowers in the commemorative stele, and recited El Fatiha on his pure soul and those of our valiant Chouhada, after that, Mr. the General, accompanied by the Major General Mahfoud BENMEDDAH, the Naval Forces Commander inaugurated the Naval Forces new headquarters.
Afterward, the General followed a comprehensive presentation of the new headquarters, presented by the managers in charge of the project realization, before inspecting different infrastructural facilities, which contributes to provide all the appropriate conditions and circumstances for the Naval Forces Command personnel to perform the assigned missions with the necessary professionalism.
Subsequently, the General, held a meeting with the Naval Forces Command high staff where he delivered a set of instructions and directives which revolved mainly around the necessity of preserving this new edifice and making more efforts to carry on the serious work that fits our Forces Command reputation notably in the field of developing their abilities and preserving our maritime territories integrity and confronting all the potential threats.
At the end of the visit, the General planted a tree before signing the Guest Book of the Naval Forces Command.
