A field visit to the Admiralty of Algiers for the benefit of students of the Institute of Architecture and Construction Engineering of Blida 1 University
The Naval Forces Command organized in May 2nd, 2023 a field visit for the benefit of professors and students of the Institute of Architecture and Construction Engineering of Blida 1 University in order to discover some monuments available in the Admiralty the Naval Base of Algiers/1stMR in order to know their styles of construction and its main characteristics. Students and professors who were accompanied by executives and representatives of the maritime museum walked around all the following monuments: Ain El Bahria, Sidi Brahim El Bahri Mosque, Mabin Tower, Ras El Moul Tower, El Fnar Tower. They had comprehensive explanations about these sites and their construction styles which are part of their own academic program.
Students and professors appreciated this visit which was, according to them, an opportunity to know more about the main monuments available in the Admiralty which will certainly contribute to the enrichment of their scientific and cultural assets.
