Within the framework of the embodiment of the bilateral military cooperation activities’ program with the United States of America, for 2023, Mr. the Major-General Mahfoud BENMEDDAH Naval Forces Commander proceeded in November 02nd, 2023 at the north quay of the Admiralty Algiers’ Naval Base/1stMR to the inspection of the Multi Task Corvette EL FATIH N° 921 before taking part in the exercise of “PHOENIX EXPRESS 23”, during the period of November 05th to 18th, 2023 off the Tunisian coasts.


This exercise is integrated within a multinational context and in a multinational context and aims to developing the interoperability between the participating countries’ navies in the maritime surveillance and security fields.

The Naval Forces Commander inspected the ship and its crew during the inspection.
