Docking of Personnel Fast Transport Ship « USNS TRENTON (T-EPF 5) » of the American Navy at Algiers’ port
Within the framework of the Algerian-American military cooperation, a Personnel Fast Transport Ship « USNS TRENTON (T-EPF 5) » of the American Navy docked in July 04th, 2023 at Algiers’ port for a stopover of three days.
On the sidelines of this stopover, the ship Commander paid a courtesy visit to Brigadier General Amar DEBBICHE, Commander of Maritime Façade Center/ 1stMR and according to the military protocols and customs, several cultural and sports activities were performed for the benefit of the American ship crew.
During this stopover, the high seas tug boat “El Mondjid” n° 701 participated in the “PASSEX” exercise with the Personnel Fast Transport Ship « USNS TRENTON (T-EPF 5) ».This activity aims to enhance the joint operational cooperation between our Naval Forces and The American Navy.
