According to military customs and in conformity with the Higher Command of the People’s National Army directives, the Major-General Mahfoud BENMEDDAH, Naval Forces Commander, proceeded in October, 05th,2023 at the Naval Forces Command Headquarters Chahid “Souidani BOUJEMAA” in Zeralda, to the ceremony of the opening of the Naval Forces’ combat preparation year 2023-2024.


     In this regard, the Major-General, Naval Forces Commander presided a coordinative meeting with the presence of the Major-General Chief of Staff of the Naval Forces, Chiefs of Maritime Façades, Directors and Chiefs of Divisions and Central Structures of the Naval Forces Command. The meeting revolved around the outcomes analysis achieved throughout the combat year preparation 2022-2023 in addition the new year’s aspirations and perspectives of combat preparation 2023-2024..


     It is worth mentioning that the Naval Forces Commander congratulated everybody for the satisfactory results and combat capacity and the higher operational readiness achieved by the Naval Forces units considered to be the fruit of the efforts made though the year. He also incited everybody on the strict application of the combat preparation program and making more efforts to attain higher degrees of the operational readiness and developing the combat competencies.
