The Naval Forces Commander in a work and inspection visit to the West Maritime Façade units/2ndMR
The Major-General MAHFOUD BENMEDDAH, Naval Forces Commander paid a work and inspection visit to different units deployed throughout the territory of the West Maritime Façade/2ndMR, from November 05th to 10th 2023, where he consulted the level of the units’ combat readiness as well as the personnel and material readiness. This visit is integrated within the framework of inspection visits included in the combat preparation plan of 2023-2024.
The Major-General Naval Forces Commander began with a courtesy visit to the Major-General, Commander of the Second Military Region, then headed to the Principal Naval Base Mers El Kebir, where he was received by the Brigadier General ABEDREZAK MOHAMED, Commander of the Principal Naval Base Mers El Kebir/2ndMR, after that, the Major-General Naval Forces Commander held a meeting with West Maritime Façade Units. The Major-General followed a comprehensive presentation on the combat level readiness of its units, where he gave a set of instructions and orientations related to the necessity of preserving the operational readiness in its high levels.
Then, he visited different units deployed throughout the territory of the West Maritime Façade/2ndMR in order to check the personnel and the material readiness. The Major-General concluded the visit with signing the guestbook of each unit.
