Opening of Naval Forces’ combat preparation year 2024-2025
     In accordance with the annual Combat readiness Directive issued by the Army General, Chief of Staff People’s National Army, Major General Mahfoud BENMEDDAH, Naval Forces Commander, supervised the opening ceremony of the Combat Readiness Year 2024-2025 of the Naval Forces, at the Naval Forces headquarters of the Naval Forces Command “SOUIDANI Boujemaa” in Zeralda, In presence of Major General Chief of Staff of the Naval Forces, Commanders of Maritime Facades, Heads of Divisions and Centrals Structures of the Naval Forces Command.

  

     In his opening address, Major General, Commander of the Naval Forces, emphasized the importance of Combat Preparedness, which is the fundamental status of the Naval Forces, stressing the geopolitical and the security changes in the Mediterranean region and the conventional and non-conventional challenges facing the Naval Forces. Require maximum operational availability and high capacity to effectively carry out mandated tasks.

  


     Mr Major General said that the new year of combat readiness would focus on raising the level of training and strengthening cooperation and coordination between different units and weapons, thus strengthening the ability of Naval Forces to protect national sovereignty at sea.
     At the end of the speech, Major General, Commander of the Naval Forces urged all personnel of the Naval Forces to comply with the national duty and the guidelines of the high Command of the National People’s Army, whishing them success in the New Year of preparation.

  

     A presentation followed by analysis of the results of the previous combat readiness year and the prospects and aspirations of the new combat readiness year 2024-2025.
