The Naval Forces Command organizes information days on the Naval Forces in Janet
     As part of the humanitarian missions of the Coast Guard units of the Naval Forces Command, relating to the rescue of human lives at sea, and following the receipt, on 06th February 2025 at 15:20, by the Regional Center for Surveillance and Rescue Operations at Sea/1stRM, of a distress signal indicating the presence of migrants in danger 27 nautical miles North-East of Cap Djennet (Boumerdes), a rescue and evacuation operation was immediately launched under the supervision of the National Center for Surveillance and Rescue Operations at Sea of the Coast Guard of the Naval Forces Command.

     Two Coast Guard boats, belonging to the Dellys territorial group of Coast Guards, intervened and managed to rescue fifteen (15) candidates for illegal immigration (14) of Somali nationality, including two (02) minors and one (01) from South Sudan. The survivors were taken on board and directed to the port of Dellys (Boumerdes), where they were taken care of and transferred to the Dellys hospital to receive the necessary care.

  

  

  

     This operation reflects the Coast-guard units of the Naval Forces Command efforts in ensuring intervention and assistance at sea in order to rescue human lives.
