The Commander of Naval Forces Major-General BENMEDDAH Mahfoud supervised the official handing over ceremony of the Naval High School Commander
The Commander of Naval Forces Major-General BENMEDDAH Mahfoud supervised, on 07th August 2022, the official handing over ceremony of the Commander of Tamenfoust Naval High School, the late Moudjahid “Major-General Mohamed BOUTIGHANE”.
At the beginning and after the welcoming ceremony, the Major-General BENMEDDAH Mahfoud proceeded to the inspection of the squares of executives and personnel of the Naval Forces aligned on the parade ground, to announce the official installation of the Commander of the Naval High School, the Major-General Ahmed MERZOUG replacing the Major-General MELIZI Rahal.
Afterward, the Major-General presided over the ceremony of handing over the national emblem and approving the Minutes of handing over the instructions.
Following this, the Major-General held a meeting with the command, the executives and the personnel of the Naval Forces and addressed, on the occasion, an orientation speech in which he indicated that the preservation of the availability of the naval battle corps was and will remain an operational imperative of extreme importance for Naval Forces.
On this occasion, the Major-General underlined that the challenges that it is up to Naval Forces to take up require everyone to work tirelessly to meet the requirements of an effective adaptation to accelerated military developments, of a geostrategic and geopolitical nature.
At the end of the meeting, the Major General gave the floor to the executives and personnel of the Naval Forces and listened to their concerns.
