The Naval Forces Commander receives the national defense committee at the People’s National Assembly
In the framework of the celebration of the glorious anniversary of November the First and in commemoration of the history of the famous Algerian canon Baba MERZOUG, Major General Mahfoud BENMEDDAH, Naval Forces Commander, received on Thursday, November 10th, 2022 at the Naval Forces Headquarters, Mr. Ahmed BELALEM president of the national defense committee at the People’s National Assembly accompanied by the parliamentary delegation in order to pay a media visit to the bastion of Baba MERZOUG at the Admiralty.
The President of the national defense committee at the People’s National Assembly Mr. Ahmed BELALEM, valorized this kind of visits saying in this regard: “We extend our thanks to Major General for the warm hospitality and Higher Command of the People’s National Army’s efforts for the development of our People’s National Army which attained higher levels of modernization and professionalism at all levels” adding in the same context: “We seize this opportunity to support and to reinforce the brave decisions of the Higher command of the People’s National Army in retrieving all the symbols of the glorious Algerian revolution notably the martyrs’ heads and the canon of Baba MERZOUG which we visited today”.
At the end of the visit, Mr. Ahmed BELALEM President of the national defense committee at the People’s National Army signed the guest book of the Naval Forces Command and symbolic gifts were exchanged between the two parties.
