« Algerian-Russian military cooperation » Docking of the « MERKURIY » Corvette of the Russian fleet of the black sea at Algiers’ port
     Within the framework of implementing the Algerian-Russian joint military bilateral cooperation program, the Corvette ship “MERKURIY” of the Russian fleet black sea docked in 10th november 2024 at the Algiers’ port for a three (03) days stopover.

  

     During this stopover, the ship commander accompanied by the representative of the Russian Embassy in Algeria paid a courtesy visit to the Brigadier General Central Maritime Façade Commander/1stMR at Algiers’ Naval Base headquarters/1stMR. Cultural and sports activities will be organized for the benefit of the ship crew.

  


     At the end of this stopover, the Multi Task Corvette “EZZADJER” n° 922 will implement “PASSEX” exercise at sea large with “MERKURIY” Corvette of the Black Sea Russian Fleet, which will allow to exchange expertise and to reinforce cooperation between the two Marines.
