Within the framework of implementing the Algerian-Russian military bilateral cooperation program, the Oceanographic Research Ship “YANTAR” of the Russian military naval fleet docked in January 11^th, 2025 at the Algiers’ port during the period of January 11^th to 14^th, 2025.


     During this stopover, the mission Chief and his accompanied delegation paid a courtesy visit to Mr. the Brigadier General, Central Maritime Façade/1^stMR, at the Algiers’ Naval Base/1^stMR. Cultural and sport activities will be organized for the benefit of the ship crew.


     This stopover will allow exchanging expertise and cooperation consolidation between the two marines.
