The Naval Forces Command organizes a training course on « the Maritime Operations » at the Army National Club/1stMR
Within the framework of implementing the military cooperation activities with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), the Naval Forces Command organized a training course on the “Maritime Operations” in December 12th, 2023 at the Army National Club/1stMR.
This scientific event was moderated by a Mobile Training Team (MTT) of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization with the participation of high officers of the Naval Forces Command and representatives of different Forces Command and Divisions of People’s National Army staff. Mr. the Brigadier General Chief of Surface Ships Division started works of this course in the name of Mr. the Major-General, Naval Forces Commander.
This activity is integrated within the framework of enhancing the military cooperation dynamic between Algeria and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, and it is regarded as an opportunity to view the recent doctrine of the armed forces of the organization in terms of maritime security and safety throughout exchanging the lessons learnt in the fields of the maritime transport follow-up and protection. Throughout technical concepts and aspects presented in this course, our high officials could better understand the role and the organization of the world system of “NATO” navigation information as well as knowing the comprehensive approach and application procedures of the maritime cooperation context in order to enhance the maritime security during crises and conflicts.
