Docking of the Frigate ADMIRAL GRIGOROVITCH of the Russian fleet of the black sea at the Algiers’ port
Within the framework of the embodiment of the Algerian-Russian bilateral military cooperation for 2023, the Frigate “ADMIRAL GRIGOROVITCH” of the Russian Fleet of the Black sea docked at the Algiers’ port, during the period of December 4th to 12th, 2023.
On the sidelines of this stopover, the mission Chief and the Russian Frigate Commander paid a courtesy visit to Mr. the Brigadier General Amar DEBBICHE Commander of the Center Maritime Façade/1stMR, at the Algiers’ Naval Base/Chahid Amar Ali so-called Ali LAPOINTE/1stMR, and according to the military protocols and customs, several cultural and sports activities were programed for the benefit of the Russian frigate crew.
During this stopover, the School Ship “LA SOUMMAM” N° 937, the Frigate “ERRADII” N° 910 and High Seas Tugboat “El MOUNDJID” N° 701 took part in the “Joint Naval Exercise-2023” with the Russian Frigate “ADMIRAL GRIGOROVITCH” on December 08th, 2023 in the Maritime Façade/1stMR.
This activity aims to enhance the joint military cooperation between our Naval Forces and the black Sea Russian Fleet.
