Within the framework of the bilateral military cooperation between the Algerian Naval Forces and their British Royal Navy peer, the Naval Forces Commander, Major General Mahfoud BENMEDDAH supervised in october 13^th, 2025 the inspection ceremony of the Multi Task « EDHAFER » n°920, in the Admiralty North Quay at Algiers’ Naval Base/1^stMR, before its participation in the two joint naval exercices scheduled during the period from october 19^th to 24^th, 2025 in the British territorial waters.



     These two exercises aim to exchanging expertise and enhancing operational coordination between the two friend countries Naval Forces particularly in the fields of maritime security, combat and underwater demolishing and special intervention actions and this reflects the professional level that the Algerian Naval Forces reached in the fields of training and international cooperation.
     This participation falls within the framework of the bilateral military cooperation and exchanging expertise in the field of maritime security and threats fighting and confirms the interest of the People’s National Army Higher Command interest in promoting the military cooperation with friend armies and enhancing operational capacities of our Naval Forces.
