Docking of Detachment of the Black sea and the Baltic Russian Fleets composed of « Novorossiisk » Submarine and Rescue Naval Tugboat « Lakov Grebelskii » at Algiers’ port
Within the framework of implementing the Algerian-Russian military bilateral cooperation program, the Detachment of the Black Sea and the Baltic Russian Fleets composed of « Novorossiisk » Submarine and Rescue Naval Tugboat « Lakov Grebelskii » docked in September 14th, 2025 at Algiers’ port in a stopover during te period of september 14th to 18th, 2025.
During this stopover, the Chief of the mission and his accompanied delegation paid a courtesy visit to Mr. The General Commander of the Central Maritime Façade/1stMR at Algiers’ Naval Base/1stMR. Cultural and sport activities will be organized for the detachment crew members.
This stopover allows exchanging expertise and enhancing cooperation between the two countries’ marine.
