Within the framework of the annual directive provisions embodiment of combat preparation of the Naval Forces Command for 2023-2024, the Naval Forces Command organized, in 16
th April 2024, a scientific day on Maritime and Hyperbaric Medicine in the Naval Forces Command headquarters “Chahid Souidani Boudjemaa”.
Major-General Mahfoud BENMEDDAH, Naval Forces Commander, supervised the opening ceremony and conclusion works of this scientific day organized by health division of the Naval Forces Command in coordination with the Naval Forces Command staff.
Works of this scientific day were animated by higher officials of the Naval Forces Command and Central Directorate of Military Health Services of the Ministry of National Defence, where it was an opportunity to tackle issues related to maritime and underwater medicine, hyperbaric and diving medicine, medical expertise of navigators personnel of the Naval Forces Command, taking care of diving incidents victims and enhancing the acquired knowledge and valorising expertise and enhancing knowledge between different communicators throughout free oral communications in addition to practical workshops and posters.
Participants and communicators had an efficient and concrete contribution in the success of this scientific day that ended with a set of recommendations and suggestions which aim to define specialties of Maritime and Hyperbaric Medicine with all its majors and exchanging expertise and acquired knowledge.
